Work can bring independence, routine, income and friendships. We help NDIS participants get ready for work, look for a job that suits their strengths, and get the support they need to keep it.
If work is one of your goals, your NDIS plan may include a Capacity Building – Finding and Keeping a Job budget. This can fund supports that help you prepare for work, find a job, and keep it once you start. Some participants also use Core supports for help getting to and taking part in work.
We work with you to understand your strengths and interests and to plan practical steps towards paid work, volunteering or further study. We can also work alongside government employment services and other providers you already use.

Step-by-step support from work-readiness to long-term employment
We explore your interests, skills and the kinds of work environments that suit you best.
Building skills like communication, time management, following instructions and workplace routines.
Help to write a résumé, search and apply for jobs, and practise for interviews.
Travel training so you can get to and from work safely and independently.
Support in your first weeks to learn the role, settle into routines and build relationships at work.
Ongoing check-ins, problem solving and support to talk with your employer about any adjustments you need.
Everyone's path to work is different. You might start with volunteering or work experience through our day program and school leavers program, build confidence through community participation, and then move into paid work. We'll go at your pace.
We can't guarantee a job outcome, but we will work with you to build the skills, confidence and connections that give you the best chance of finding and keeping work you enjoy.
We support participants across Greater Sydney – including Bankstown, Parramatta, Liverpool, Blacktown and the St George area – and across Melbourne's south-east, including Dandenong, Frankston, Cranbourne, Pakenham and Berwick. See all Sydney service areas and Victorian service areas.
It's a Capacity Building budget in some NDIS plans that funds supports to help you prepare for, find and keep a job. What's included depends on your plan and the NDIA's decisions.
Possibly. Some work-readiness skills can be built through other supports, such as life skills development or community participation. If work is a goal, tell your planner so it can be considered at your next plan reassessment.
Yes. With your consent, we can work alongside government-funded employment services and other providers so your supports fit together.
Where it's appropriate and funded in your plan, and with your employer's agreement, a support worker can help you settle into your role and build independence on the job.
